On the last sacred Monday of Shrawan, come and spend an evening in song.

We will gather to sing bhajans together, the old devotional songs that have carried people through joy and difficulty for generations. You do not need to know the words. You do not need to be able to sing. When a room sings together, something softens, and you can simply let your voice join in, or sit quietly and let it wash over you. Both are welcome here.

Ankita will lead the evening. Alongside the singing there will be a short guided meditation, and a few gentle things she has learned for settling a busy, tired mind, small practices you can carry home with you. And when the singing ends, we will share food together, because an evening like this is not only about the music, it is about the people beside you.

Getting there
The Neelgiri Café, Shop 4, 6 Eden Park Drive, Macquarie Park. It is a short walk from Macquarie Park Metro station, so you can come straight from the city or work without needing to drive. If you are driving, there is parking on the surrounding streets, which is easy and unrestricted on a weekday evening.

Coming along
$15 per person, which includes dinner. Your ticket covers your meal, and everything above that goes to a good cause, so simply by coming along you are giving something too.

This is a calm, grown-up evening, best suited to adults and young people aged 12 and over.

Everyone is welcome, whether bhajans are already part of your life or you are simply curious and in need of a calm evening. Bring a friend if you would like, this is the kind of night that is lovely to share.
