Terms & Conditions
(including Participation Agreement & Risk Warning)
Last updated: 2 February 2026
By registering a facility or participating in sessions, you (the facility/contact) agree on behalf of yourself and participants to these terms. Continued use means acceptance.
1. Services
We provide live online chair yoga/meditation, gentle, low-mobility, dementia-friendly sessions. We do not provide any medical advice/treatment. Participants must consult doctors for health concerns and participate only at comfortable levels.
2. Recordings
For your convenience and to support residents who might miss a live session, we may record the instructor's guidance and screen only (no participant video, audio, names, or images are ever captured or stored). These private recordings are shared securely via our Calm Club Portal, accessible only to your registered facility for replay and are deleted after a reasonable period (usually 30 days).
Participants must not record, screenshot, or share any part of the sessions.
3. Health, Safety & Responsibility
At Calm Club, your wellbeing is our priority. Our chair yoga and meditation sessions are designed to be exceptionally gentle, mindful, and holistic; focusing on breath, ease, and inner calm for body and mind. They're suitable for low-mobility and dementia-friendly participation, and we always encourage listening to your body.
That said, any movement practice (even seated and online) involves some inherent risks, such as minor strains, chair shifts, worsening of existing conditions, or screen tiredness.
Risk Acknowledgement (under Civil Liability Act 2002 NSW):
We take every care to guide sessions safely, but to the fullest extent permitted by law (including SS 5M & 5N Civil Liability Act 2002 NSW and Australian Consumer Law), participants voluntarily assume these gentle, obvious risks.
You kindly release Yogaverse, our instructors (including Sudesh), and affiliates from responsibility for any injury, loss, or discomfort arising from participation (except where due to reckless conduct).
This doesn't affect your non-excludable statutory rights, we're here to support your holistic journey with care.
4. Conduct & Intellectual Property
- Mute mics unless speaking.
- No disruption - keep the space respectful and calm.
- Cameras optional (and never recorded on our end).
- Session content (including any recordings we provide) is our copyright - please don't share beyond your facility.
5. Billing & Cancellation
- First month: Free trial (up to 4 weeks/sessions).
- Ongoing: Monthly invoicing to facilities based on agreed sessions/access. Cancel the subscription anytime (we'll prorate remaining days where fair).
- Individual session cancellation: Please let us know by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If notice is shorter (or it's a no-show), the session will still be considered delivered and included in your monthly invoice. We're always flexible for genuine reasons, just reach out.
6. Media
Anonymised/blurred highlights (e.g., participation stats) may be used for marketing. Opt out anytime.
7. Technical Support
Email-only: hello@yogaverse.com.au. We respond within 24 hours with step-by-step help.
8. Termination & Changes
We may suspend/terminate access for breaches. We may update terms with 14 days' emailed notice — continued use means acceptance.
9. General
- Entire Agreement: These terms are the full agreement.
- Severability: Invalid parts don't affect the rest.
- Governing Law: New South Wales, Australia. Disputes resolved amicably first, then courts.
Thank you for trusting us to bring calm to seniors — we're deeply grateful.
